Appropriate Technology Competition for Bali Province, One Of Food Technology FTP Unud Lecturer Becomes Judges

The Appropriate Technology Competition at the Bali Province level is carried out by the Village Community Empowerment, Population and Civil Registry Office of the Province of Bali. This competition activity was participated by all Regencies and Cities throughout the Province of Bali which will later be selected 1 Winner from the Innovation Category and 1 Winner from the Featured Category who will later represent Bali in the National Event.

 

One Of Lecturers of the Food Technology Study Program Faculty of Agricultural Technology, namely  Luh Putu Trisna Darmayanti, S.Hut., M.P.  and Mr. Cokorda Anom Bayu Sadyasmara, S.TP., M.Sc Lecturer of Industrial Agricultural Study Program FTP Unud have the opportunity to be on the Judges in the Appropriate Technology competition together with the judges from the Center for the Study of Agricultural Technology, namely Mr. Wayan Sunanjaya and Mr. Made Sugianyar. The assessment will be carried out throughout Bali by the Four Judges, accompanied by the Trustees, the Village Community Empowerment Service, Population and Civil Registry of the Province of Bali, the Village Community Empowerment Service, the Regency Population and Civil Registry and the Local Government.

 

The appropriate technology competition consists of 2 categories, namely the Innovation Category and the Featured Category. The regions that sent representatives of Appropriate Technology for the Innovation category were Bangli Regency, namely Multipurpose Transport Equipment by I Wayan Suama, Karangasem Regency namely Yarn Spinners, Bebali Weavers and Fabric Dyes with innovations using natural materials by I Wayan Karya, Buleleng Regency namely Cool Young Farmers by Gede Suardita, Gianyar Regency, namely Processed Porang by I Wayan Pasek Adi Putra, Tabanan Regency, namely Magic Combaster with Nano Bio Silicon Carbon Technology by Anak Agung Nyoman Wijana and Gianyar Regency namely Processing Plastic Waste into Crafts by Ida Bagus Putu Pradana Murti.

 

Meanwhile, for the Appropriate Technology Competition in the Leading Category, several regions that sent representatives were Jembrana Regency, namely Hots Coffee by Armanu, Gianyar Regency, namely Processed of Coconut Fruit by I Wayan Ruja, Badung Regency, namely Utilization of Zero Rupiah Composter by I Komang Suryawan and Multifunctional Electric Weed Weeder by IGN. Artana and Buleleng Regency, namely the Plastic House by Putu Eka Dharmawan.

 

Through this activity Mr. Cokorda Anom Bayu Sadyasmara, S.TP., M.Sc and Mrs. Luh Putu Trisna Darmayanti, S.Hut., M.P. as a representative of the Judges, hopes that this competition can produce Appropriate Technology that can have a positive impact on the progress of their respective regions and it is hoped that later the winners from each category who will represent Bali Province on the national level can provide the best performance and make Bali Province proud.
