Food Technology Student Association (HIMATEPA)
The major is a unified study plan as a guideline for the implementation
of academic or professional education which is held on the basis of a
curriculum and is aimed at enabling students to master the knowledge, skills,
and attitudes in accordance with the curriculum objectives. Food Technology Major
is one of the majors within the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana
University which is a unified study plan for professions involving various
concentrations in the field of food technology.
The major student association is an organizational institution at the major
level which is a forum for students to develop potential in their fields
according to the goals of Tri Dharma of higher education, namely education,
research, and social service. The Food Technology Student Association
(HIMATEPA) is a student organization that accommodates various student
activities of the food technology major. The role and function of HIMATEPA is
as an institution that carries out work programs that include the development
of interests and talents, student welfare, community service, reasoning and
scientific activities according to the field of food technology. HIMATEPA has 5
departments as follows:
1. Department of Public Relations
2. Department of Education and Reasoning
3. Department of Interests and Talents
4. Department of Student Welfare
5. Department of Communication and Information
Some of the leading programs are Scientific Event Of Food Technology
(SEFOLOGY) , Community Service (PM), Scientific Visits (KUIL), Festival of
Food Technology (FESFOOD), and Student Conference (MUSHIMATEPA). These
activities support the development of academic and non-academic potential of
all Food Technology students, Faculty of Agricultural Technology.
Vision
The vision of HIMATEPA for the 2022 period is to Create Active,
Creative, Solutive, and Responsive Students in HIMATEPA Harmoni.
Mission
missions of HIMATEPA for the 2022 period are:
1.
Optimizing HIMATEPA as a place to grow and develop in academic and
non-academic fields.
2.
Creating students who are responsive and solution to issues both
internally and externally on campus.
3.
Realizing HIMATEPA which contains polite, trustworthy, responsible and
beneficial personalities for the community.
4.
Strengthening the synergy between students in order to create a
harmonious relationship internally and externally.
Purpose
The Purpose of HIMATEPA are:
1. To establish unity and co-operation among the academic community of the
Food Technology Major in particular and the Faculty of Agricultural Technology,
Udayana University in general.
2.
Forming academic people as a form of implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher
Education.
3.
As a forum for developing student interests and talents in the food
technology profession.
