Lecturer of Food Technology Study Program Assists in Making Temu Putih Herbal Tea at Banjar Kerta, Petang Village, Badung

Food Technology Study Program lecturers provide assistance in community service activities in Banjar Kerta, Petang Village, Petang District, Badung Regency. This service activity is a collaboration of all study programs in the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University. All Study Programs within the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, namely the Food Technology Study Program, the Agroindustrial Technology Study Program and the Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering Study Program collaborate to carry out Community Service in Banjar Kerta, Petang Village, Petang District, Badung Regency on Sunday, November 13th 2022 which was attended by all lecturers in the FTP environment of Udayana University along with several student representatives in each study program. This activity was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Prof. Ir. I Made Anom Sutrisna Wijaya, M.App.Sc., Ph.D., and attended by 2nd Deputy Dean, 3rd Deputy Dean of FTP Unud, All Study Program Coordinators in FTP Unud. In addition, it was also attended by Kelian Dinas Banjar Kerta, Mr. Gusti Putu Arya, Chair of the Swadaya Putri KWT and members.

 

On this occasion, the Food Technology Study Program Lecturer, namely Mrs. Ni Luh Ari Yusasrini, S.TP., M.P. providing Assistance materials for Making Temu Putih Herbal Tea. He provided information and assistance regarding the processes of making temu putih herbal tea, besides that he also provided input on the process of making red ginger and kencur herbal tea which are products produced by KWT Swadaya Putri Banjar Kerta, Petang Village.

 

Kelian Dinas Banjar Kerta Mr. Gusti Putu Arya said in his speech that the problem with the products produced by KWT is that there is no distribution permit so it is difficult to market and leave products in big shops, if from cleanliness it can be ascertained that they are clean because they have been guided and checked by the local health department, he said. In addition, the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Prof. Ir. I Made Anom Sutrisna Wijaya, M.App.Sc., Ph.D. said in his speech that he hoped that this service and mentoring activity did not stop here, he also hoped that positive communication would continue and would always accompany KWT Swadaya Putri so that later they could get a distribution permit and product development which is expected to be one of the characteristics of the product. and souvenirs from Banjar Kerta, Petang Village, Petang District, Badung Regency, he said - (AMP)
