HIMATEPA Unud, Invites Students to Get Closer to the Food Industry Through KUIL

The Student Association of the Food Technology Study Program (HIMATEPA) of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University (FTP Unud) has carried out a Scientific Visit Activity (KUIL) on 27 August - 30 August 2023. The KUIL activity is an annual work program from the HIMATEPA Department of Education and Reasoning to the food processing industry which is carried out offline (in person) to find out more about company profiles, production processes, and conditions in the food processing industry. KUIL 2023 activities are aimed at all students of batch 2022, batch of 2021 and previous batches who are interested in factory visits as well as participants who have not participated in KUIL activities (Scientific Visits) and HIMATEPA functionaries at Udayana University 2023.

 

At this time, the 2023 HIMATEPA Scientific Visit was held offline in East Java (Malang - Pasuruan) for 4 days and 3 nights with the aim of visiting the PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka and UMKM Bagus Agriseta Mandiri and Malang Apple Picking Tour and Brawijaya University. This activity was accompanied by the Coordinator of the Food Technology Study Program, Dr. Gusti Ayu Kadek Diah Puspawati, S.TP., M.Si and Lecturer in the Food Technology Study Program, Putu Julyantika Nica Dewi, S.TP., M.TP.

 

One of the HIMATEPA Functionary representatives who is familiarly called Adindari said that she introduced students to the food processing industry directly, made the temple a motivation for students to have a new mindset and be ready to compete in the world of work, broaden students' insights about the application of knowledge gained during lectures in the food processing industry and establishing tertiary relations with the food processing industry.
